What to Wear
Because we are doing a sunrise ceremony in the wild and a classy brunch, we have two distinct looks for the day.
Desert temps fluctuate greatly during February. The mornings can be as low as 40°F and the daytime temperatures hover around 60–70°F. It's also dry, so keep that in mind.
PACKING LIST
- 1Lots of layers!
- 2Good shoes for sandy & rocky terrain.
- 3Swimsuit for the pool.
- 4Any fun western outfits for Pappy & Harriet's (who doesn't love an excuse to wear a cowboy hat?).
- 5Casual BBQ outfit for rehearsal dinner.
The Vibe
Casual, cozy, and practical.
The Palette
Please wear solid black.
The Rule
Stay warm! February desert mornings are frigid. Please wear thick layers, coats, and sensible shoes for walking on sand and rocks.
The Vibe
Funky desert formal.
The Palette
For gals: rust, orange, lavender, plum, light blue, and wine. For guys: tan, mauve, browns, oranges, and plum.
The Rule
Time to shed the winter coats and change into your Sunday best. It will be a short ceremony — there is plenty of time to change between the park and the brunch!
